Telecommunications firm, Globacom, has urged Nigerians to be hopeful of better days in 2021 despite the challenges of the previous year worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a goodwill message, it encouraged the citizens that there were reasons to be “grateful in the midst of challenges faced in the past year, especially as we were able to survive the year and witness the New Year together.

“We believe we should be grateful for getting through the year as individuals, families, and nation in spite of the challenges occasioned by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic,” Globacom noted in the statement.

The company said it believed 2021 would be a better year for Nigerians, advising compatriots to think positively and go into the new year with hope, fortitude, and willpower to achieve their targets.

“As we strive to achieve personal accomplishments in 2021, let us also embrace one another and aspire to expand the social and economic frontiers of the country in an atmosphere of love, peace, and unity,” it added.
