God told me famine, crisis coming to Nigeria – Model Ukachukwu

Popular Nigerian model, Miss Nwaoma Ukachukwu, has raised the alarm over a looming crisis that will soon befall Nigeria.

Nwaoma, in a bulletin made available to Nigerian media, said the current crisis in Benue, the South East, and parts of the North was capable of consuming the entire nation. This, she said, was revealed to her by God.

According to her, she sees an increasing rate of criminality in the South East, North East, North West, and the Middle Belt, including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, that will further frustrate farming activities, especially during this planting season.

Nwaoma said the great “pestilence lies ahead like in the days of Pharaoh, and things will continue to worsen for the country unless the ‘Egyptians’ holding down the prosperity of this country exit the scene for good.”

She accused people in government of deliberately creating the current situation in order to score political points, stating that “such tactics were a direct attack on the citizens.”

“If the attackers continue to attack farmers, who will then go to the farm? Turn to any part of the country, there is one form of terrorism or the other. People in Plateau and Benue can no longer go to the farm. People in the South East are constantly attacked.

How can they farm comfortably? Far away in Zamfara, Borno, and Yobe, the story is not different. Many cannot go deep into the bush or the forest to plant or harvest. It’s a sad development.

“The government that is supposed to be man’s best bet and hope for a change has decided to look the other way and become an agent of degradation and destruction. This is the sad reality.

“Government and people in political circles have failed to understand the act of stewardship and service to the people.

“God says we are gradually getting into a period of famine and massive loss of life.

“Bad policies of government have led her people to alarming poverty; inflation and rising food prices are becoming worse by the day,” she lamented.

The CEO and founder of Nwaoma Foundation (Beacon of Love) is pleading, crying, and warning that should the government not take immediate action against insecurity, and should there not be an alternative arrangement to store up food for the most difficult days ahead, famine and loss of lives will become inevitable.

“I call on the government to take action now, else we are in big trouble. Crime rates will triple amid hunger and deaths if nothing concrete is done,” she said.

Nwaoma further lamented the level of greed in the nation’s polity, saying it has taken over everyone’s soul.

“We need humanity to fight off this greed. We need to be our brother’s keeper, else civil war will be a ‘baby’ to what is about to befall us. We must act now,” she said.
