Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Commissioner, representing Udu, Uvwie, Ughelli south and Urhobos in Warri south, Hon. Goru Oghenekaro Jonathan popularly called Hon Karo Goru, has installed Ultra modern solar panel street light for Ejebah residents.

This development in recent times has boosted the security and night life in the community, which was once clouded by darkness.

The community received the donations due to the commissioner’s desire to promote renewable energy, reduce carbon footprints and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Other reasons for the installation includes promoting safety by improving visibility at night, which can help reduce crime and accidents, encourage outdoor activities and improve the overall well-being of the community

The installation of light in the community can also attract businesses and tourism, contributing to local economic growth.

This project was in line with the Delta MORE AGENDA principal mandate of the Executive Governor of Delta state, Rt. Hon Sherriff Oborevwori which promotes meaningful development for Deltans
