4Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his counterparts from Bayelsa, Edo and Ekiti states, Seriake Dickson, Godwin Obaseki and Kayode Fayemi respectively, are expected as guests at an intercessory service convened by former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon.

The national prayer service, under the aegis of “Nigeria Prays,” will take place on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Deeper Life Bible Church Headquarters, Gbagada in Lagos.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Mr. Jide Sanwo-Olu and other distinguished personalities are also expected at the service, which will be broadcast globally.

A statement from the office of the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi yesterday, said the summit is to draw up sufficient prayers and heart-cry for the nation which is undergoing testy times and primed to hold elections three months from now.
