A NON-GOVERNMENTAL organisation (NGO) with UN ECOSCOC consultative status, Tabitha Cumi Foundation (TCF), has cautioned young girls, children and their parents and guardians on the need to be security conscious and mindful of their activities during the festive season.

Executive Director of the foundation, Mrs. Tayo Erinle, who stated this during the end-of-year programme of the Tabitha Cumi Girls Club at the Millennium Park in Abuja, yesterday, said: “For the last two years, we’ve talked a lot to the girls about security and that was the purpose of creating safe places in communities and for the girls to be wise in the places they go, who they associate with, not to be in lonely places at the wrong time and to tell someone when they notice something that is out of place or looks strange.

“We are telling them that we don’t want them to misuse the holiday season but to be focused. Even in this season, they can make meaningful use of their time.”
