Atiku Action Group has asked Nigerians to be circumspect of another round of campaign promises from President Muhammadu Buhari and ignore his ‘Next Level’ agenda.

The support group for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) for failing to field a more credible and competent candidate for the election than “Buhari who has failed Nigerians.”

Director-general of the group, Finain Okere, reacting to the unveiling of Buhari’s roadmap for 2019 on Monday in Abuja, said that “Nigerians cannot be deceived again,” describing the Next Level agenda of APC as a hoax.

Okere, in a statement, recalled that APC had in 2015 promised to provide two million jobs annually, but ended up destroying the economy with a job loss of 10 million.

He, however, asked Nigerians not to despair because Atiku would get the country working again.

He enjoined the people to rally round the PDP presidential candidate to make Nigeria a livable country.

The statement read in part: “Yesterday, Nigerians listened to the presidential candidate of the ruling party, the APC, President Muhammadu Buhari, as he read out what was called the APC’s roadmap for the 2019 elections tagged ‘The Next Level’. We watched with curiosity to know what they would tell Nigerians this time. In all sincerity, we had thought that the ruling party would not consider it necessary to release any roadmap, owing to their very poor performance over the last three and half years. Our biggest surprise for the year 2018 was when Buhari announced that he was seeking re-election as president. We know, too, that many Nigerians were surprised. ”
