A group, under the aegis of ‘South South Pen Pushers’ has warned the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to desist from attacking and maligning the wife of former governor Peter Odili, Justice Mary Odili.

In statement by the media director of the group, Ambrose Inusa Sule, it warned the APC and its candidate, Dakuku Peterside to stop lamenting and accept their loss in good fate.

According to them: “Our attention has been drawn to the text of a press conference by the defeated candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Rivers State governorship election, Mr. Dakuku Peterside.

“Ordinarily, as a group we would have ignored the rants as that of a frustrated and prostrate loser of an election he was poised to win

“First, Dakuku Peterside should feel redeemed by the fact that Governor Nyesom Wike has ‘adopted’ him as a son given his capitulation on the altar of justice. For him to drag the Justice Mary Odili and the Supreme Court, as an institution into his woeful lamentation, is to say the least, appalling, crass and dangerous to the sanctity of the judicial system in Nigeria.’’
