Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) has charged Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel results of the governorship and legislative elections in Rivers, Lagos and Imo states over alleged widespread irregularities.

It called for a repeat of the exercise, warning that any attempt by the electoral umpire to uphold the outcome could lead to anarchy. The group, in a statement, yesterday, by its Director of Strategic Communication, Great Imo Jonathan, observed “Our attention has been drawn to the irregularities, malpractices and voter suppression that characterised the governorship and House of Assembly elections in Rivers, Imo and Lagos states on Saturday.

“From the evidence available to us, it is obvious that conduct of the elections in the aforementioned three states did not comply with the Electoral Act. It would pose immense danger to our democracy if the results are upheld by INEC.”
