In a strategic move to bridge the communication gap between the federal government and the grassroots, the Renewed Hope Alive Movement (RHAM) has announced a massive nationwide mobilization project aimed at educating Nigerians on the impacts of the current administration’s reforms.

The Convener, Prince, Keyode Tejuosho, described the group as a citizen-driving movement committed to providing clarity through verified data and fact-based narratives. “Unlike traditional political groups that focus on material inducements, RHAM emphasizes intellectual empowerment and civic participation.”

During the project’s unveiling, Tejuosho, detailed a robust organisational structure designed to penetrate every corner of the country. The movement has already established 37 State Coordinators, 774 Local Government coordinators and over 8000 representatives across all wards.

“We are intending to go to the very streets to inform the people,” Opeifa stated.

He noted than RHAM model is different. “We are not here to give out sewing machines or grinders to induce people. Our task is to let them know that the President has sold his vision to the citizens. We want the people to look at the work being done, from the student loan fund (NELFUND) to the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) initiatives among others.”

To ensure the message resonates, Tejuosh noted that RHAM will communicate in local languages, tailored to the specific preferences of each community and will utilize a synergy with the private sector to track feedback.

The Deputy National Convener, Olufemi Bashorun, revealed that the project will commence its zonal launches in April. The rollout is scheduled to begin in the Southwest before moving to other geo-political zones.

Bashorun emphasized that the movement’s leadership is intentionally youth-dominated. “Every state coordinator of RHAM is a youth because of the belief we have in their energy and ability to drive ideas. Many activities the President has embarked on are unknown to the public; we are taking this information to the local levels to inform people.”

Commending the initiative, Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Kayode Opeifa, who officially unveiled the RHAM logo, noted that Nigeria is currently at a crossroads where public support and understanding are vital.

He praised the President for adhering to the principle of federal character and being not ethnocentric, urging the group to address the trust deficit by bringing the government closer to the people.

The event drew support from various sectors, including corporate leaders and veteran unionists. Adeola Adetunji, former Manager at Coca-Cola, expressed confidence that disseminating the right information to the grassroots would bring much-needed clarity to the President’s actions.

Similarly, former Treasurer of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Adesegun Raheem, highlighted the administrative milestones achieved under the current leadership. “This project is bridging the link between the government and the governed. Before now, the highest a teacher could reach was school principal, but today we have teachers serving as Permanent Secretaries,” he said.

Chairman of All Councilors, Olakunle Williams, pledged the support of local legislators, noting that the 7,740 councilors across Nigeria would be instrumental in connecting with voters who may not follow mainstream news or speak English.

As RHAM prepares for its April launch, its mission remains clear: to foster a culture of optimism and shared responsibility, ensuring that the effect of government policy is felt and understood by every Nigerian.
