The Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Babatunde Rotinwa has said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s performance has endeared him to Lagosians, which would help the governor get five million votes in the coming election.

Rotinwa said this at the Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard, Ikorodu division public enlightenment campaign on Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) collection and endorsement of Ambode for continuity in office beyond 2019.

He urged Ikorodu residents to go and collect their PVCs in order to be able to vote in the coming election. He said the governor has helped to improve infrastructures around Ikorodu, so he should be compensated with adequate votes.

Also, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, who was the Guest Speaker at the Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard, Ndi Igbo United Forum in Oshodi, said it is gratifying to witness Ndi Igbo groups in Lagos uniting for the first time in support of the common cause of re-electing the governor.

He said: “I am ready to join Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard to mobilise the targeted five million votes for the governor, because of all his visible projects across the state.”
