Group urges political parties to zone Presidency to South East
A group, under the aegis of G-27, has urged the two dominant political parties, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), to zone the presidency to the South East.
G-27 is a political front that is urging all the 18 registered political parties to field candidates from the South East for the office of the President.
Speaking in Owerri, yesterday, the national coordinator of the group, Victor Nwachukwu, said the only political decision the other zones would make is accepting zoning the ticket for the 2023 presidency to the South East.
