Some Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have called on Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, to facilitate the process and sign the Open Government Partnership (OGP) policy.

Rising from a town hall meeting organised by the Open Alliance Nigeria, the activists noted that the OGP was the only solution to transparency, accountability and integrity in government activities. They hailed the states that have gone far in the process of adopting OGP, stating there was need for openness in national and sub- national governments, especially in budget implementation.
