A former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) governorship aspirant in the 2012 election in Ondo State, Chief Jamiu Ekungba, yesterday called for peace and unity among disgruntled members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 18 Local Councils.

He also declared his intention to run for the 2016 governorship election in the state.

In the grand finale of the conciliatory measure in his hometown, Owo, in Owo Local Council, where party members from all Local Councils in the state converged, he noted that without such a move, the party might not be victorious in the 2016 election.
