A 400 level student of the Kogi State University, Anyigba has been killed by gunmen.

According to a source from the school, the student was in an exam hall when unknown gunmen invaded and shot him.

It was gathered that he was shot at the faculty of Management Sciences, Banking, and Finance Department.

Efforts to confirm the incident from the police met a brick wall as the Kogi State Command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO); William Aya said they are yet to be briefed on the incident.

Similarly, the authorities of the university could not be reached to confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report.
