Gunmen, yesterday, abducted two South Korean workers belonging to Daewoo Engineering Services in Rivers State.

It was gathered that six Nigerian security personnel were killed during the attack, which happened in the early hours.

Daewoo Engineering Services is contracted by Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) to carry out piling work on the site of the Enwhe West Manifold, in Aminigboko community, Abua/Odual Local Council of Rivers State.

The gunmen reportedly escaped via the Orashi River in a speedboat anchored at the shore in Emesu community.
