Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has urged Traditional Rulers Council in Calabar to support his aspiration to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023 general elections, saying he has wealth of experience to lead Nigeria.

Speaking at the traditional ruler’s council chambers, Osinbajo said the time had come for him to bring to bear a wealth of experience gathered as the Vice President to President Buhari-led administration if given the ticket the presidential ticket.

“On April 11, 2022, I formally declared my intention to run for the President of Nigeria after serving for seven years in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“I have the great fortune to have been exposed by the PMB administration to governance.

“I know the intricacies of our country Nigeria. I think all the experience that I have gathered throughout this period. I think time has come to bring such wealth of experience to bear.”

In his welcome remarks, the Chairman, Cross River State Traditional Rulers Council, Dr. Etiyin Etim Okon Edet, lauded Osinbajo and prayed for the aspirant, saying they are “invisible delegates” that would work as spirit.
