The agitators were eventually overpowered and it was gathered that about 20 of them were arrested by the security operative.
Reacting to the invasion attempt, Igboho, a key figure in the Yoruba Nation movement, called for a thorough investigation to uncover the perpetrators.
He called on Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde to conduct a comprehensive inquiry to determine the motives behind the attack.
He reaffirmed his dedication to maintaining peace and security in Yorubaland.
Also, he emphasized that he would never support any actions that could disrupt the region’s tranquility.
