The Ijebu Fashion Festival, an indigenous platform, is set to hold fashion exhibition for emerging designers and artists within the country.In a statement, the convener of the programme, Maraiyesa Olakunle, said the festival, which will hold in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, on November 18 and 19, would afford indigenous designers the opportunity to showcase their products to stakeholders in the industry. 
 
“Our main focus is to use fashion as an instrument of sustainability, social change and to celebrate our common heritage with its own unique fashion trends. Also, we seek to create awareness, recognition, appreciation and empowerment of budding and local designers,” he said.
