Electorates arrived at the polling booth, with over 1000 voters, as early as 8 am to cast their votes, but got disappointed as voting materials and officials came around 11 am.
Many became agitated when the voting process became quite slow because just one ad-hoc staff was available to operate four BVAS machines allocated to the polling unit. However, another ad-hoc came in later to assist.
Mr. T. S. Agesin expressed frustration at the slow pace of voting at the centre, saying many were at the booth early to vote but at 3 pm were still in the queue.
Similarly, at Polling Unit 064, Ward 3, on Abiodun Delegun Street, Isuti Road, Igando, voting went on smoothly.
Meanwhile, voting in parts of Shomolu, Fola Agoro, and Akoka was peaceful.
