Chief imams and Islamic scholars across Taraba State have called on residents, particularly the Muslim community, to support Governor Agbu Kefas’s vision for a prosperous and unified Taraba.

The appeal was made on Sunday during a special prayer session at the Saurara Jumma’at Mosque in Jalingo, the state capital.

Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to the governor on Muslim Religious Affairs to the governor, Alhaji Hussaini Ismaila, applauded governor Kefas for his commitment to advancing development and fostering unity in the state.

He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to improving peace, security, healthcare, education, and infrastructure, urging all residents to rally behind the governor’s agenda.

“Governor Agbu Kefas remains unwavering in his efforts to build a better Taraba. I encourage everyone, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters, to support his vision for a greater state,” Ismaila said.

The Islamic leaders emphasised the strong partnership between the Muslim community and the state government, highlighting their shared commitment to unity and progress.

The prayer session, as made known by the clerics, underscored the collaborative efforts driving Taraba’s development under Kefas’s leadership, symbolising hope for a brighter future in the state.
