The Command Secondary School Jos Old Students Association [COJOSA] will from tomorrow (Friday) meet in Lagos to fashion out development plans for their alma mater.

The event tagged, “Grand reunion’ and billed to hold at Eko Hotel & Suites would provide an avenue where discussions on the best strategies for lifting members and their alma mater would be reviewed and discussed.

The association’s president, Ademola Kasumu while addressing reporters on activities for the two-day event said the choice of former president Olusegun Obasanjo as ‘Father of the day’ was commemorative, as it was during his tenure as military head of state that the Nigeria Army set up the first Command Secondary School.

Kasumu said the former president would be joined by other special guests, including Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state, alongside the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General T Y Buratai, past principals and military commandants.

He added that a special posthumous recognition would be conferred on celebrated Boko Haram war hero, Late Col. Abu Ali, who was also a former student of Command Secondary School, Jos.

The two- day gathering, according to Kasumu, would involve members of the association from within and outside the country.

He disclosed that the day one of the programme would feature a pre-union and welcome party at the Condo Event Centre, NAF officers Mess on Kofo Abayomi Street in Victoria Island, Lagos, while the grand reunion will hold at the grand ballroom of Eko Hotel and Suites with two sessions, one in the morning and a gala event at night of day two.
