The three relations of former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, who were abducted two days ago, have been released.
A family source, Michael Danjuma, told The Guardian, yesterday, that the victims were released on Tuesday night after ransom was paid to the abductors.
Danjuma also confirmed that the three victims were in good condition, though would need medical examination due to the trauma they went through in hands of their abductors.
He, however, lamented that immediate family members of the victims were compelled to pay undisclosed sum as ransom.
There had been recurrent tragedy of bandits’ attack on the family.
“You would recall that, two years ago, two children of the same father of these three children were killed in their Gudi home by bandits, who invaded the house at night,” he added.
