Ace Nigerian Rapper, Singer and songwriter, King Sixtus is finally securing his spot in the ever-bubbling entertainment industry.

King Six whose real name is Sixtus Chidera Ohajiogu, hail from orlu local government area, Imo state. The 28 year- old rapper has been considered as one of the brightest talents to emerge from Western Africa, Nigeria.

Sharing his ordeal in the industry, the talented rapper recalled an attack by deadly armed robbers shortly after winning the award for the best artiste at the Glo rock ‘n’ Rule, South East edition held in his alma mater, Anambra State University.

He said: “First, I thank God for saving my life, my experience is one that i will never wish even my enemy. My condition was bad that even the nurses and doctors at Regina Caeli hospital Awka where i was admitted refused to attend to me despite showing them police reports.”

“My family will forever remain grateful to Dr Nwosu of Guinness Eye center Onitsha Anambra State for saving my life.”

Speaking on regaining his confidence and career path after the accident, the artiste said, “I lost many deals, record label and endorsements, who would sign a musician who couldn’t talk right? It took me over 5 years to regain confidence in my skills and look and to do music again. I’m sure God kept me alive to explore my full potential”.

King six has had a significant rise in the industry, opening major music concerts for some of Nigeria’s A-list Artists including Dbanj, Mo Hits, M.I Abaga and Flavour at Glo Lafta Fest, Tuface at the Tuface industry Nite amongst others.

In June 2020, King Six released his first official single “Flawless” which was inspired by his battle with the scars received from being shot in the face.

He followed up with a song dedicated to women titled “God & Herself” where he advocates women empowerment and another song titled “These Days”, where he reaches out to depressed young people.

In his latest single titled “Gone”, King Six shows he is not only a talented rapper but an amazing singer as he delivers the song with beautiful notes and lyrics. Gone was released on the 24th of June 2022 and is currently trending massively across mainstream music platforms.
