A Business Development Strategist, Mr. Christian Erue, has advised the younger generation of Nigeria to priotise investing their time and energy in knowledge-based entrepreneurship as that is the best options to achieve greatness and prosperity in life, especially in a developing economy like Nigeria.

He argued that investing in Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine, which he classified as knowledge economy, is very sacrosanct for national development as this will help to create jobs and fight hunger and poverty.

Erue, who is the Head of Strategy and Business Transformation of Crystalhills Technology Hub, spoke over the weekend during the graduation ceremony of 43 youths trained and certified on Smart Homes Automation and Solar Technology –  selected across the six South West states of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti.

The training, powered by a pan-yoruba development group, Yoruba Professionals Foundation (YPF), in partnership with Crystalhills Technology Hub and The WTL Technologies and Ilana Omo Oodua, held in Magodo GRA Phase 2, Lagos on Saturday, was chaired by a renowned Yoruba Leader, Professor Banji Akintoye.

Addressing the gathering, Erue, together with the founder and chief executive officer of Crystalhills, Mr. Timilehin Sanwo, urged the participants to go and conquer the world through their knowledge of automated smart homes technologies and digital security they have learned.

“Knowledge-based entrepreneurship which is the theme of this training is the best weapon against hunger in developing world. India invested in technology, sciences and medicine. Today, the youths of India are te driving force of the economy of the second most populous country in the world.

“We have been trained you on how to install cameras in homes. We have trained you on how to use your phone and mobile to track your homes, offices and even your cars. It is not just for you to collect our certificate and sleep. No. We want you to go all out and use the knowledge you have acquired to conquer the world. The scientific revolution in India started just like this. You guys should please make us proud. I am open for consultation and mentorship.”

Responding, one of the participants, Halimat Atanda, commended Crystalhills Technology Hub and YPF for putting the life-changing training together, stating that “my best decision of 2020 was this training I attended.”
