Kogi Governor Elect Vows To Stamp Out Sectional Acrimony

Yahaya BelloThe Governor elect in Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has promised to stamp out sectional and tribal acrimony, saying they would soon be history in the state.

Bello solicited support from the people for his government in order to realise the collective destiny of the state.
“I will bridge the differences to pave way for one United Kogi State. At the end I would have bequeathed the State with the best leadership.”

Bello made the promise in Lokoja, where he received certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“This is your victory and it is my fervent prayer that in Kogi State, we shall go very high and far, working together and strengthening each other to fulfill our collective destiny.”

Continuing, he said, “We implore every one to put in their best to making Kogi state greater than it is at present. Every member of this winning team is valuable because we can succeed only with the participation of all.
