Notwithstanding his defeat at the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, Suleiman Baba Ali has thrown his weight behind the APC candidate, former governor Abubakar Audu in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Ali, according to his campaign group, has closed ranks to enhance the chances of the APC against the incumbent Governor Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Director Media of Ali’s campaign group, Mohammed Abdullahi, said the Suleiman Baba Ali Campaign Organisation had resolved to support and work for Prince Audu that emerged at the primaries to ensure that APC is victorious at the polls slated for November 21, 2015.
