Lagos CP, Onigbanjo commission new police law library

The Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of Lagos State, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo, and the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu, have commissioned the newly renovated police law library donated by the state government at State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba.
 
The Attorney-General of Lagos State emphasised the need to update police lawyers and work with the ministry on better criminal justice administration in the state. He further promised that the state government would do everything possible towards the quick dispensation of justice.

 
The state police boss while commending the Lagos State Government for its support to the police command, reassured citizens of adequate security and quick dispensation of justice since the police lawyers in the command are better grounded in the laws and regulations of the state and have better access to relevant law books and literature that will upgrade their knowledge in the legal framework of Lagos State.

The officer in charge of the police legal unit of the command, SP Yetunde Cardoso, promised to utilize the facility to good use.
