Lagos task force distributes safety kits to officers

The Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force, CSP Adetayo Akerele, yesterday distributed safety kits to officers and personnel of the agency to enhance their safety while on duty.

The items distributed included protective boots, helmets, and other essential gear. Speaking during the distribution exercise, Akerele stressed the importance of prioritising personal health and well-being.

Help yourself, take care of your health, and reduce your salt intake. Feed yourself with nutritious food, and don’t wait until there’s a problem before going for a medical check-up,” he advised.

Reaffirming his commitment to staff welfare, he said: “I always place the welfare of my staff at the forefront. If the task force is to remain effective, all of us must double our efforts, and the achievements will be dedicated to every one of you.”

Akerele also encouraged the officers to use the distributed kits well, emphasising that proper utilisation would improve service delivery and enhance safety in their operations.
