Lagos Will Not Discriminate On Tribe Or Creed Says Ambode Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Recently Hosted The Executive Members Of The Federation Of Muslim Women Association Of Nigeria (Fomwan), At The Lagos House, Saying That His Administration Would Not Subscribe To Any Form Of Discrimination Based On Tribe Or Religious Affiliation.

The Governor Said As Much As The State Is Home To A Large Number Of Religious Organisations, His Government Would Continue To Respect The Constitution Of The Country Which Allows For Freedom Of Association, Urging All Religious Bodies To Continue To Exhibit Tolerance And Unity Among Themselves.

The Governor, Who Said Lagos Was Honoured To Be Chosen As The Host For The 31st Edition Of The Fomwan Conference, Also Commended The Group For Embarking On Laudable Projects Just As He Assured Them Of The Readiness Of His Government To Partner With Them In Executing

The Projects Earmarked To Be Done In The State. Deputy Governor Of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Who Is Also A Member Of The Group, Expressed Appreciation, Especially For The Support The Group And The Entire Muslim Family Has Been Receiving From The Governor.
