Law Corridor to host NBA Section on legal practice

Abuja-based law firm, Law Corridor, will host the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in Abuja.

The programme with the theme, ‘Technology Law 101: Introduction to Telecommunications & Technology Practice’, will hold at Law Corridor Multipurpose Studio, inside Law Corridor Office Complex, at Plot 638, Marberries Street, Katampe, Abuja.

The event will feature seasoned speakers and luminaries from both the telecoms industry and the legal profession. Representatives of regulators like the Nigerian Communications Commission and operators from different parts of the value chain will speak on innovative approaches to modern telecoms and tech practice.

Law Corridor Managing Partner, Henry Eni-Otu, says: “Law Corridor is excited to host the NBA Section on Legal Practice under the distinguished chairmanship of Mrs Folashade Alli (SAN); and Fernandez Marcus-Obiene, the Section’s Technology Media and Telecommunications Committee.

“The theme of the event, ‘Technology Law 101: Introduction to Telecommunications & Technology Practice’ is particularly of interest, especially regarding the infusion of emerging technology like artificial intelligence into telecommunications, privacy, data and ethical issues.

“It is my firm belief that the outcomes of the discussions will become a useful blueprint in handling complex socio-economic and national challenges that come with the use of emerging technology.”

The event is one of the Firm’s contribution to Legal practice with the aim of fostering and developing continuous legal education while promoting sector specific knowlege within the profession.

The event also aligns with thought leadership programs usually hosted by the Firm.
In April, 2026, Law Corridor held the second edition of its Policy Dialogue, which headlined the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), among other notable speakers.

Last year, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, chaired the firm’s policy dialogue on issues regarding the real estate sector.
