
Johnson said the utilisation of the programme by the beneficiaries would contribute largely to the economy of the country and bring a meaningful breakthrough.
He, therefore, charged the beneficiaries to see the fish farming business as income to increase their investment and earn more profits.
Chairman of the occasion, Bamigbetan Kehinde, charged the beneficiaries to improvise and market their products very well through the indigenous way of marketing food.
He said: “Poverty is a major issue that we are concerned about. The more we reduce the poverty level, the better it is for us.”
Similarly, the Provost, Federal College of Horticulture, Dadin-Kowa, represented by Hassan Adesina of the institution, tutored the participants on fish farming and goat rearing.
He emphasised the benefits of goat farming in Nigeria.
Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Jude Idimogu, in his goodwill message, charged the beneficiaries to utilise the grants well and put into practice what has been taught.
