Leaders urged to embrace integrity, patriotism

The Chief Executive Officer of Expidale Logistics Company, Dr Oluyemi Owolabi, has urged leaders at all levels to embrace integrity and patriotism to move the country forward.

The Chief Executive Officer of Expidale Logistics Company, Dr Oluyemi Owolabi, has urged leaders at all levels to embrace integrity and patriotism to move the country forward.
  
Owolabi, who was among eminent Nigerians presented with integrity and patriotic awards by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) in Lagos, said:  “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people according to the scripture.
 


“Let your yes be yes and your no be no. My life has been tailored on the life of biblical Job whom God vouched for as a man of integrity.”
 
In his nomination letter signed by the President of NACJ, Dr Charles Okhai, the association remarked: “Your nomination is predicated on your very impressive track record of consistent demonstration of integrity, patriotism, diligence, professionalism and excellent leadership capacity.”

Okhai said the award was given to deserving individuals and organisations embodying the virtues of integrity, leadership and courage; people who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the betterment of society.  
 
Other prominent Nigerians honoured at the ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, include Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, Founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, Shaka Momodu, Thisday Editor, Architect Gbadebo Rhodes Viviour, Lagos State governorship candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, and Dr. Barwa Barki, Service Coordinator, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Yola branch, Adamawa State, among others.
