The APC northwest youth leader, Abdulhamid Umar Moh’d Oscar has challenged the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi to mention any of the commissioners who served under him during his eight years tenure as Governor of Anambra State that are currently campaigning for him.
Oscar who is also the Deputy Director of Youth Mobilization Presidential Campaign Council(PCC) North-West said, he is confident that those who work under the All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu during his tenure as Lagos state governor are currently campaigning for him across the 36 states of the country for his presidential bid. “His investment in others is now paying off for him.”
While asserting that commissioners who served under Tinubu during his eight years tenure as Lagos governor are still capable of working with him when he becomes president, Oscar noted that the Labour party candidate is yet to pinpoint anyone he trained.
Oscar added that “we have seen those watched as those people who worked under Tinubu continued to assume bigger positions like Vice president, ministers and directors but the same cannot be said of Piter Obi because he never envisaged a moment like this.
While challenging the Labour Party candidate to list 10 of his then commissioners and what contributions they made to Nigeria’s growth, Oscar said “I’m definitely sure that for Obi’s 8 years as governor, he can’t list all those who served under him as commissioner and I also want to believe that not all of them are supporting him now.
“Obi did not invest in people like Asiwaju did. If you look at it now, all those that Asiwaju nurtured are at the frontline now campaigning for him to become president.
“I challenge obi to list some of his commissioners in Anambra that are now working for him. Obi is a loner in this presidential race and, he will be defeated by Tinubu next month.”
