LynX Ride has announced its entry into Nigeria’s mobility market, positioning its platform as a response to ongoing concerns about pricing transparency, service reliability and the fragmented separation between passenger transport and logistics.
The company said it is adopting a model that combines ride-hailing and goods delivery within a single digital system, rather than operating as a standalone passenger transport service.
Its chief executive officer, Oluwafemi Sanni, said the approach was intended to address structural gaps that have persisted in the sector.
“Transportation should function as dependable infrastructure, not just an on-demand service,” Sanni said. “
The goal is to create a system people and businesses can rely on, with transparency and structure built into how services are delivered.”
He explained that LynX Ride was developed under the strategic oversight of SwiftEx Courier LLC and is designed to support multiple vehicle categories and service options.
According to him, the platform can handle individual and scheduled trips, airport transfers and logistics operations within a single operational framework.
Sanni said the company was also seeking to respond to safety and service quality concerns that have affected confidence in the mobility sector.
“LynX Ride requires mandatory verification for all participants, supports trips with real-time tracking and uses performance feedback to monitor service standards,” he said, adding that the measures were intended to improve accountability in an environment often characterised by informal practices and weak enforcement.
Industry analysts say the integration of passenger transport and logistics services could reduce duplication of resources and improve coordination, particularly in markets where transport systems are highly fragmented.
