Makinde loses aide, condoles with family of deceased

A former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Alhaji Afeez Tijani, is dead.

Tijani, who held the position during the administration of former Governor Rashidi Ladoja, died on Monday.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, yesterday, described news of the death of Tijani, who was also Special Assistant on Irepo/Olorunsogo/Orelope Federal Constituency as shocking.

A statement by Special Assistant (Print Media) to the Governor, Moses Alao, reads: “Alhaji Tijani was a committed party man and a strong believer in the wellness of PDP. He gave his best efforts to see the progress of the party and the state. We all will miss him.”

“It is my prayer that God grants repose to his soul. I equally commiserate with his immediate family, Kisi Community, and the PDP family in Oyo State.”
