Makinde moves to develop Oyo via agric

Governor Seyi Makinde has declared that his administration would ensure accelerated development of Oyo State through agriculture in the next four years.

Governor Seyi Makinde has declared that his administration would ensure accelerated development of Oyo State through agriculture in the next four years.

Speaking at an event in Eruwa, he pledged that the current government would revive farm settlements and leverage agricultural value chain to turn the fortunes of the state around.

His Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, Makinde, in a statement, stressed that the state intended to use agriculture as a point of contact for development.

On infrastructure development, the governor assured the people of Ibarapa land that his government would compete the Ibadan/Eruwa highway.

Makinde told his hosts that he holds them in high esteem, hence their community was his first port of call since his inauguration on May 29 this year.
