Makinde unveils road safety advisory council to minimise accidents

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, yesterday, inaugurated the Road Safety Advisory Council to prevent and minimise accidents on highways in the state.

Makinde, while inaugurating the 10-man council at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, promised to replicate same in all local councils of the state.

The governor said the Council would be saddled with the responsibility of educating drivers, motorists and other members of the public on the proper use of the roads and highways.

He, therefore, urged members of the Council to put in their best.
