Man allegedly dies in lover’s house in Delta
THE small town of Ulli-Iyede, Isoko North Local Council of Delta State was thrown into deep Wednesday following the sudden death of a young graduate, Mr. Harrison Ighoroje, in his girlfriend’s house.
Ighoroje, a graduate of Delta State University (DELSU) who taught briefly in one of the private secondary school in Emede community, was said to have visited his girlfriend at Irri, Isoko South Local Council to pass the night as usual, where he reportedly died after a romp.
A source explained that the young man was in the middle of a conversation with his friends along Oleh/Irri Road when his girlfriend put call across in the night to say that she was sick and needed his urgent attention.
The deceased was said to have started convulsing at about 3:00am in the early hours of the morning at the girlfriend’s house and died on the spot before he was taken to the hospital.
The distressed lover rushed to the local police station at Oleh to report the incident, where she was detained immediately in order to carry out investigations into the mysterious death.
The Delta State Police spokeswoman, Mrs. Celestina Kalu, confirmed the incident but promised to give a detailed report after thorough investigation.
