The agency typically arranges a meeting between one of its escorts and the client at the customer’s house or hotel room (outcall), or at the escort’s residence (incall).

Some agencies also provide escorts for longer durations, who may stay with the client or travel along on a holiday or business trip.

While the escort agency is paid a fee for this booking and dispatch service, the customer must negotiate any additional fees or arrangements directly with the escorts for any other services that are not provided by the agency involved, such as providing sexual services regardless of the legality of these services.

In Lagos, one of the greatest cities in Africa, escort business has taken new dimension with uniformed men leading the park.

However, rather than provide sexual service as other escorts do in other parts of the world, these uniformed men escort trucks and lorries laden with goods to their several destinations within and outside the state for the lure of lucre.

Escort has recently become an indispensable and lucrative business for men in uniformed, that a visit to most of the major markets in Lagos depicted a new burgeoning trend.

In some cases, these uniformed men do not just escort laden trucks but commercial bus drivers to wade- off extortions from the police and touts.

The escorts, who seemed to have perfected the business as if that is part of their primary assignments, range from policemen to the men of the armed forces.

They are often sighted at notable parks and markets across the state, sometimes in their well starched shiny khaki uniforms.

An importer at Ladipo spare part International Market, Nnamdi Obumneme said some of them would rather wear their branded force crew-neck polo and characteristic shuttle bag at their backs as they await and inquire from lorries and buses that may desire their services.
