Mimiko drums support for Wada’s re election bid

The Governor of Ondo State and chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has mobilised support for the reelection bid of Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State.

Mimiko who led the campaign train of Wada to the western axis of the state for a rally at Kabba ‎gave assurance that all PDP governors would work in unity to ensure the victory of their colleague Governor Idris Wada in Kogi at the gubernatorial polls.

Mimiko expressed optimistic that Governor Wada would win his election overwhelmingly as a result of human and infrastructural development put in place since he came on board in 2012.

He however, called for the sustenance of the prevailing unity amongst the PDP family in the state, which according to him was the only surest way to success.

Governor Idris Wada of the state has indicated that probity and accountability would remain his watchword if given the mandate to govern the state again come November 21st gubernatorial election in the state.

Wada recalled that PDP had in the last 13 years impacted positively on the lives of Kogites in terms of provision of the needed democracy dividends.

He promised that PDP administration in Kogi would continue to give priority to women and youth empowerment through agriculture and human capital.
