Ministry Of Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation holds first prayer session of 2025

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Bolaji Cecilia Dada, has expressed profound gratitude to God for His grace and guidance, during the Ministry’s first prayer session for the year.
  
Addressing the team during the event which was held during the week, the Commissioner reflected on the Ministry’s accomplishments in the past year, attributing them to divine intervention, unity, and the dedication of staff.

“Every achievement we have made in this Ministry is not by human power but by the grace of God. As we begin this New Year, we have every reason to thank God for keeping us in good health, for a peaceful working environment, and for the victories we continue to experience. Let us continue to trust in Him as we strive for more success in 2025,” she said.
  
She also commended the staff for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout 2024, emphasising the importance of team building, unity, and collaboration.
  
While commending the commissioner for her visionary leadership, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Oluyemi Kalesanwo, also highlighted the hard work and dedication of the staff as the foundation for the Ministry’s progress. “It is through trust in God and the cooperation of our team that we have moved forward. I encourage everyone to do even more this year,” she stated.
  
The Director of Finance and Accounts, Mrs. Lanre Lawal, led prayers for the team, asking for God’s continued guidance and good health for all staff in the year ahead.
  
Similarly, the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Bose Ilori, thanked God for the Ministry’s achievements and expressed confidence in the team’s ability to accomplish even greater successes in 2025.
  
The prayer session concluded with a renewed commitment from all attendees to uphold the Ministry’s mission of empowering women and alleviating poverty while fostering an environment of peace, unity, and hard work.
