Mohammed swears in eight commissioners, redeploys four others
Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has sworn in eight new commissioners and redeployed four others in a major reshuffle.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday in Bauchi, Mohammed congratulated the newly appointed commissioners on their appointments.
He said that their track record of service and fairness in representation in line with state character were taken into considerations in selecting them for their positions.
“It is my hope that they would justify the confidence reposed in them, and see their appointment as a challenge and an opportunity to prove their worth in the service of the state,” he said.
