MTN launches campaign to encourage selfless giving
IN a bid to encourage the spirit of giving among Nigerians, especially in this Yuletide season, leading telecommunications firm, MTN, has kicked off its ‘Sharing Is Good’ campaign.
Speaking at the event, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, said: “The campaign is designed to tap into the festive season and cultivate the spirit of selfless giving among Nigerians.”
He added that the campaign, which will ride on MTN’s impressive bouquet of service offerings, will encourage people to share special moments with family and loved ones and create memories that would last a life time.
Iweanoge noted that, “we are very excited to announce the kick-off of the MTN ‘Sharing is Good’ campaign. It’s a campaign that seeks to encourage people to be generous in the spirit of the season. MTN is saying that we should de-emphasize self and emphasize the good old fashioned values of selflessness and love,” he said.
While giving details of the campaign, he stated that subscribers will be encouraged to share products such as data, value added services, airtime amongst others with their loved ones.
In addition to encouraging people to share products, Iweanoge added that the telecommunications firm would be sponsoring several customer engagement platforms during the Christmas season.
These platforms, according to him, will further provide the brand with an opportunity to engage with customers directly.
