
Multichoice Group has announced the rebranding of its Supersports channels on DStv and GOtv platforms to SuperSport West Africa.
Executive Head of Marketing for MultiChoice West Africa, Tope Oshunkeye, in a statement, said the changes took effect on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
Additionally, a new channel, SuperSport Action, has been introduced, offering a broader range of sports content, including UFC matches and more Champions League games.
The included channels on GOtv are SuperSport Africa which will replace Supersport Select 2, which is currently on (Channel 64) also, SuperSport Action will now take over from Select 3 (channel 69) on GOtv Supa and SupaPlus bouquets.
Oshunkeye said the change was made for customers to enjoy more content in the world of sports.
“The channel revamp is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our sports offering and provide customers with more unbeatable sports content that resonates with them,” she said.

The new channels will feature top sports action from around the world, including local boxing, UFC events, and comprehensive analysis tailored for the African audience.
MultiChoice reiterated its commitment to delivering premium sports content, with Oshunkeye stating, “We remain dedicated to offering the best sporting action to our customers while continuously exploring ways to provide more choices, exciting live content, and great value.”
