Navy commanders to sign performance bond

Navy commanders at all levels in the country will henceforth sign performance bond to enhance operational efficiency, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, has said.

According to him, the feedback mechanism is emplaced as part of measures to stimulate effective management regime.

Gambo made the announcement while declaring open Nigerian Navy retreat 2021 themed “Effective Management for Nigerian Navy operational Efficiency” at the Naval Headquarters in Abuja.

He noted that “it is necessary to understand key performance indicators for measurement of progress at various strata of the Naval decision-making process.”
