LAGOS State’s new Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, and his management team, on February 19, met with the executives of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) to discuss strengthening their partnership.

The meeting was attended by the PCRC National Chairman, Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan; the PCRC National Vice Chairman, South-West, Prince Sunny Yemi Adenowo; the Lagos State Chairman, Apostle Kehinde A. Showemimo; state executives; and area command chairmen.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Lagos PCRC Deputy General Secretary (DGS), Mr. Jude Ndoh.

According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police, during the meeting, promised to work towards fostering a stronger partnership between the police and the PCRC, saying the collaboration aims to enhance security and safety in Lagos State.

The PCRC executives, in turn, expressed their commitment to supporting the police in maintaining law and order.

The meeting underscored the importance of community-police relations in achieving effective crime prevention and control.

“By working together, the police and PCRC can share intelligence, best practices, and resources to create a safer and more secure environment for all Lagos State residents,” the statement read.
