THE Federal Government and the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) Group have signed a $523,823 (N185, 957, 165) million agreement on technical assistance to build capacity for improved cotton and textile industries in Nigeria.The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, and president of the group, Dr. Bandar M H Hajjar, signed the pact at the 44th annual meeting of the ISDB in Marrakesh, Morocco.

The information was contained in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja by the minister’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Paul Ella Abechi.
