Nigeria may end open defecation by 2025

The Federal Government yesterday supported a national action plan on ending open defecation in 2025 and providing water, sanitation and hygiene for Nigerians by 2030.

A delegation to the 2019 World Water Week holding in Stockholm, Sweden, pledged to prioritise water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).

Team leader and Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, pleaded with the international community to help Nigeria achieve the goal.
