Nigeria must align it’s national priorities, says Ikube
The Chief Executive Officer, Ikube Online, Mr. Johnson Ikube, has said Nigeria must align its vision and priorities with the common needs and aspirations of its people.
Ikube, who is also Secretary/Treasurer, Nigeria National Board of Trustees of The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, in his keynote address entitled “Towards Greater Alignment of Our National Priorities” during a public lecture by the Lagos Zone of the Order, said many Nigerians receive money without producing anything or rendering any service that can be mutually exchanged for the growth of the economy.
“This must be reversed to not only reduce cost of governance, but to also stop the bleeding from unengaged but money earning individuals. This may require constitutional amendments,” he said.
He added that the nation should be run as an economy with political dimensions. “Knowledgeable, courageous, objective and focused leadership is inevitable to these transformations,” he said.
