The family of late Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, on Saturday, announced the burial date of the late statesman and Niger Delta leader.

He would be buried on May 13, 2025, at his hometown, Kiagbodo, in the Burutu local council area, Delta State.

The United States-based eldest son of late Pa Clark, Penaowei Clark, made the announcement on behalf of his children and family during a media briefing at Kiagbodo on Saturday.

He said, “As you all know our father passed 17th of February, exactly 48 days ago. We are here today to announce his burial which will be on May 13, 2025.

“This is to formally inform everybody, the nation as a whole, of the burial day. We shall be formally be forwarding to you the burial programme subsequently.

“Today makes it exactly 48 days since the demise of our dear father, Chief (Dr.) Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.

“He was born on 25h May, 1927 at Erhuwaren in Ugelli South Local Government Area of Delta.”
